The Senior Analyst is in charge of performing different tasks such as costing and material views creations, keep accuracy on master data, production variance analysis and account reconciliations.
This position is a competitive role structured to strengthen/develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career at Bacardi.The Senior Analyst is also responsible for production order settlements, variance analysis (including follow ups) and reconciliations between different reporting systems, this role will also provide support to plant contacts in terms of costing or production order matters.
During month end close, person will work in processes to ensure integrity in the financial statements.
**About You**
This role requires interactions across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance), including acting as a resource to the international markets due to daily tasks in which you will need to provide customer service to different markets across the world.
On the role you will be able to drive standardization and reinforce correct procedures to make sure all the countries comply with the global guidelines.
**Responsibilities**:
**With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to**:
- Perform tasks related to Global Ops COE team within the Bacardi Enterprise Services, which serves over 50 business units and corporate headquarters operations.
- Execution of costing master data creation and maintenance understanding the Bacardi trading flows.
- Calculation, review and posting of accounting journal entries.
- Monthly processes as: Balance Sheet Account reconciliation (BBSR), analysis of production variances, closing, SysAids
- Attend plant queries on product costing and production order matters.
- Be able to respond and support auditor's requests, including different SOX controls executed within the team.
- Support implementation of new projects from costing/inventory perspective.
- Communicate effectively with internal/external Bacardi customers as necessary to ensure that work is properly delivered and influence them to follow the correct procedures and policies.
- Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements pertaining to Global Ops COE accounting processes.
- Continuously identify, propose, and execute process improvements.
- Lead budget and transfer price annual process

- Desired but not mandatory: possess technical mastery in topics such as: standard costing, inventory flows, transfer pricing and variances accounting.

- Previous accounting experience 4 years or higher.
- English Level 85% minimum.
Ability to communicate in English.
Advanced writing is a must and intermediate to advance speaking is required.
