THE WORK
- Technical Mastery: Develop clear, modular, and maintainable Salesforce code that adheres to best practices, meets requirements, and is robustly tested.
- Strategic Design: Lead in the architectural decisions for Salesforce-based products, balancing current needs with future scalability and performance.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee and implement a comprehensive testing strategy that includes performance, load, and various other testing types, all aligned with accepted testing frameworks.
- Problem Diagnosis and Resolution: Proactively identify and rectify issues within Salesforce and related systems, ensuring SLAs are met and further issues are preemptively mitigated.
- Security: Establish and maintain high-security standards within Salesforce solutions, identifying and mitigating risks that may go unnoticed by others.
- Business Acumen: Engage in roadmap planning, identifying engineering opportunities that could improve key business metrics like net retention, revenue, and margin.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor within the Salesforce development team, promoting best practices, collaboration, and skill enhancement.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing timely updates on progress, blockers, and dependencies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with QA, Product Management, and other engineering teams to ensure a seamless development process.

NEEDED EXPERTISE
- Extensive experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning components, and various Salesforce APIs.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale Salesforce product development.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SFDX DevOps Tools such as Copado and SFDX CLI is a definite bonus.
- Good knowledge of Field Service Lightning is a big plus.
