The Automation Engineer will help develop, manage and execute plans for deploying changes, improving reliability and performance, boarding user groups, and improving the services provided by the technology team that supports software development tools.
**What You'll Do**
- Use monitoring to improve availability and performance. Create alerts to find anomalies, and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide operational support for CI/CD infrastructure.
- Contribute as a DevOps team member focused on modernization and automation
- Be a champion for DevOps principles and culture change
- Design and implement monitoring and self-healing processes
- Identify and Implement Process Improvements and documentation
- Utilize engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model, configuration, and change management
**What experience you need**
- BS or Associate's Degree/Technical Certification or equivalent job experience required
- 1 years of experience in developing public cloud infrastructure using IAC tools Terraform
- 1 year of experience DevOps/CICD methodologies and technologies
- 1 years of experience in GCP/AWS using basic services like Compute Engine, VPC, GKE, Bigquery or similar AWS technologies
- English proficiency B2/C1
- 1 year of experience with Agile and DevOps concepts, developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards and alerts using tools like Pagerduty, Datadog, grafana.
- 1 years of experience using or integrating CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub
- Around 1 yr of Experience with scripting tools
**What could set you apart**
- Experience using tools/technologies to develop infrastructure as code (IAC) such as Terraform, Ansible
- Experience using or integrating CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub.
- Software development experience in 2 or languages
- Experience with one or more Public Cloud Providers (Google, Amazon, Azure)
