What this job involves
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Sr. Sourcing Operations Manager to join our team:
**Location**: Cityzen Park, La Ribera de Belén, Costa Rica.
**Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm/7:00 am to 4:00 pm (to be agreed).
**Work model**: Hybrid (at least, three day working at JLL Office).
**Contract Type**: Indefinite-term.
**Job Summary**:
Oversee and manage all S&P activities centralized in JBS Costa Rica Costa Rica.
Lead and coordinate the smooth transition of all the activities, tasks and roles transferred to the new CR service center. Act as a transition lead (PMO) ensuring all activities and knowledge is transitioned accordingly with minimum operational impact to our business and operations.
Work directly with S&P leadership, account leadership and clients to manage expectations and team deliverables from a central location. This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a new team of S&P professionals in JBS Costa Rica.
Provide impactful leadership in a collaborative environment across all functional areas operating in the service center, including JBS.
Drive results through program implementation and monitoring success, and ensure all accounts supported from the service center meet all KPIs and Goals set forth by S&P, account leadership and Client.
Oversee assigned portfolio compliance and controls, develop new and innovative sourcing strategies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Introduce and create innovative ways, tools, systems, and work process to support the business taking in consideration the particularities and benefits of the central team/remote location.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to Clients.
Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.
Bring strategic thought leadership to the organization by looking for new disruptive ideas to deliver S&P goals.
Ensure contracting and procurement standards, policies, and procedures are maintained and followed throughout the portfolio of managed accounts.
Partner with internal operations teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the Client.
What is your day to day?
**Achieves Financial/Compliance Results**: Oversight of annual sourcing plan development and implementation.
Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
Own sourcing compliance and controls across the managed portfolio. Identify and develop opportunities for improvement.
Ensure sourcing technology tools are leveraged.
Partner teams with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier's performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business.
**Develops and Leads High Performing Teams**:
Lead the transition process to the newly created service Hub in Costa Rica.
Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top Sourcing talent.
Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
Create high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.

**Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships**:
Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
Establish and maintain relationships within the managed portfolio including but not limited to the Divisional Sourcing Leads, Managing Directors, and Account Directors.
Proactively manage suppliers to ensure overall performance expectations are met across the associated accounts.
Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation.
