Provides Customer and Sales Support by managing customer inquiries, assisting with opportunity management, and facilitating communication across teams to ensure seamless operations.
Handle initial responses for solutions pricing and quoting of simple requests within the assigned territory.
Assist with forecasting and managing the pipeline for assigned-territory customers.
Provide support to customers on questions or issues related to solutions pricing and quoting, becoming a subject matter expert on supplier lines, tools, and processes.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls via 800# to support both customers and sales reps and provides the first call response focused on providing pricing and quoting the customer identified solution.Engages with the customer to understand the scope of the solution request.
Utilizes knowledge and tool sets to configure, price, quote, and process requests for specific hardware, software, services for identified configuration design solutions.Works cooperatively with management and others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
Offer project support, including sharing specifications, pricing, and promotions.Provides assigned-territory customers with information to assist in making additional decisions regarding our OEM's solutions and services.Uses internal resources to resolve or escalate all pertinent pre-sales issues, e.g., credit, engineering, etc.
Effectively follows through on commitments.Follows up on all opportunities and monitors the pipeline activity to close within the identified forecast period.Ensures accurate opportunity details are communicated and documented in CRM.Contributes information to forecast consolidations.
Participates in meetings and opportunity reviews for customers in the assigned territory.
Maintains integrity of customer information in customer systems, as appropriate.Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated subject matter expert working knowledge of product, pricing, customer service, and sales strategy.Demonstrated subject matter expert working knowledge of simple configuration solutions design, including tools, products and services, practices, procedures and methods.
Demonstrated ability to identify and use appropriate tools to price simple configuration requests.
Demonstrated working knowledge of sales and quoting systems.
Demonstrated verbal, written, interpersonal communications skills sufficient to collaborate work in a successful team environment and effectively interface with supplier and customer representatives by telephone and e-mail.
Demonstrated subject matter expert attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks based on identified process requirements.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of distribution industry.Work Experience Requirements: 3 years of experience in inside sales support, or another related role.
