**Role Purpose**
The Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team manages the corporate office portfolio and aims to provide a safe, sustainable, and efficient work environment to accommodate growth and enable our client's employees to innovate and delight customers. The Global Project Management Office (GPMO) drives and supports consistency and scalability for delivery of non-construction projects, processes, and documentation across all regions.
The EMEA Project Manager will be part of the GPMO under the EMEA team, collaborating and aligning closely with the Global and other regional teams around the world managing and delivering local and global projects of all sizes, supporting the client in constantly raising the bar for customers.
The Project Manager will focus on executing projects against the agreed scope and timeline but will also act as an advisor to the project sponsor and stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities associated with their projects. Project Managers are more than timekeepers - they gain a deep understanding of evolving customer needs and are instrumental in transforming projects to deliver against those. You'll be working frequently with clients, so you'll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you'll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients' expectations are met each time.

- Great communication skills are a must, combined with ability to moderate large forums, facilitate dialog with stakeholders and clearly present outcomes and risks.
- An excellent level of English is mandatory, other languages are a plus.

**What this job involves**
- Lead and manage operational (non-construction) projects of all sizes both locally and globally, including complex, cross-functional projects requiring alignment from all GREF regions.
- Be able to strategize with project sponsors, challenge outcomes and propose deliverables to ensure fit for purpose and scalable solutions.
- Provide regular detailed reporting on project status, calling out critical milestones, risks with impact and mitigations, bottlenecks and blockers with path to green.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle and take ownership of delivering across all project stages.
- Collaborate closely and support Business as usual Program Managers - who own delivery of particular GREF services - in continuous improvement projects, supporting both in setup of the necessary projects as well as execution all the way through to business as usual stabilization (Project Close).
- Support project sponsors & other stakeholders in defining & writing business requirements, which may include collaborating with the GREF Technology team to determine the technical requirements and/or operational teams to assess the customer impacts.
- Make the right trade-off between schedule, resources and scope to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project.
- Assemble project teams with support of project sponsor, define mechanisms of team collaboration and schedule appropriate interaction.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, being either project management counterparts in other regions or project sponsors and other stakeholders when leading global projects.
- Dive deep into data and documentation to support the analysis needed for project delivery.
- Identify resources needed for projects to succeed and work with the relevant stakeholders to assign those when and as needed.
- Ability to quickly assimilate information provided and translate into appropriate project actions.
- Flexibility to pivot the project when external or internal factors impact scope or timeline.
