**Job Title**: Sr. Production Supervisor

**Main Purpose of Job**: (Brief Summary)
- The Sr. Production Supervisor position is responsible for supervising manufacturing employees in a molding and
assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, supervises staff and monitoring work floor,
implements and leads Viant Medical and regulatory policies and procedures and manages improvement projects
in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Main Job Duties/Responsibilities (List most important first)
- Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and
appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and
enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and supervise the training of employees; developing
personal growth opportunities.
- Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment;
monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within
process control points; initiating and maintaining a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
and shifts.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results;
establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of
the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing Viant Medical and regulatory procedures and
standards.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production
performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all
control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established Viant Medical and
regulatory policies and procedures.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions;
recommending action.
- Manage and coordinate with the other production supervisors of the area (if applicable) improvement
projects for the production floor that are related but not exclusive to production methods, equipment,
operating procedures and working conditions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Qualifications
**Requirements**:
Knowledge / Education
- Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Business
Administration or related discipline.
- Master degree or a certification in project management, lean manufacturing or
related discipline is a plus.
- Good in written and oral English (desired)
- Regulatory/FDA or ISO 13485:2003 and CFR 820 CGMPs (desired)
- Clean room experience (desired)
- Knowledge on computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Project management experience (desired)
- Knowledge on lean tools
