We are seeking someone with a passion for building infrastructure and platform services that enable and accelerate software development teams against a backdrop of complex compliance and governance. As a key player in our product development process, you will be responsible for driving the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your role will involve defining and prioritizing features, creating user stories, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the product backlog refinement process, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and prioritized based on business value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment, providing guidance and clarifications on user stories during sprints.
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team.
- Conduct regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve the development process.
- Foster a collaborative environment, balancing the needs of stakeholders with the capabilities of the development team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, driving for continuous improvement-better outcomes with the software development team and stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experiece.
- Additional certification in Agile or Product Management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices; Understanding of automation, continuous integration-continuous deployment (CI-CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Understanding of infrastructure technologies: familiarity with networking, cloud services, virtualization, storage, and server technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
