**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, mínimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.
**What You'll Do**
- Accountable solutions that reflects improvement in the standard cost of the families in DL, FOH, VOH, DM through problem solving methodologies. available for all the organization as needed.
- Leads problem solving and establishes process improvement in the systems that allows make product cost improvement year over year.
- Mentors the line supervisor and manager to take promptly decision based on accurate data. Support the line supervisor on production plan accuracy. Ex, MPSP/MSP/Units lost/Headcount.
- Administrates the headcount budget for Direct labor (approximately 1200 Team members), and takes decisions balancing the business needs and the financial commitments.
- Influence with int. & ext. customers by meeting regulatory, responding and getting alignment between departments.
- Propose solutions that reflects improvement in the standard cost of the families in DL, FOH, VOH, DM through problem solving methodologies.
- Manages the operations metrics for the entire product (s) family. Develops, implements, and manages the family metrics report out and control tables. Ensures metrics report
- Owns and drives the budget process for the manufacturing area
- Understands production area financials and plans countermeasures to off-plan metrics
- Anticipates potential challenges and takes steps to avoid problems.
- Performs the LBEs for Headcount needs, Over Time, line capacity and overall spending from DL connected with the standard cost of Direct labor and fixed overhead. And control the Fixed overhead spending budget according financial goals
- Demonstrates ownership of production area / broader organization results, controls key levers based on data analysis and consistently improves safety, quality, service, and cost results
**Shift: Admin (Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)**

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
- 4 years of related experience
- Experience in diverse manufacturing roles such as Planning, Finance, Operations Supervisors, Business Excellence, or other related fields
- Experience with MS office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point, Advance level knowledgeable in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
- Demonstrated proficiency on manufacturing systems used to collect data and control/monitor processes (SAP, Kronos, SFA or similar)
- Demonstrated strong communication skill both written and verbal. Confidence presenting to senior management, peers and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization including plant associates to senior management.
- Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master degree in related field.
- Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company
- Certification related or applicable to position. For example 6Sigma, lean coach, problem solving techniques, data analytics, etc. is a plus.
