ROC is looking for a
**Senior Operations Analyst - Regulatory Report Owner** to join the regulatory reporting team in the role of report owner.
The
**Sr Operations Analyst Report Owner** represents a key role in the delivery of initiatives and business processes that are critical driving Moody's Investors Service strategies and establishing standard operational procedures.
The report owner is responsible for the end-to-end process from creation to delivery and ensuring the precision, completeness, and timeliness of all reports within their domain.
This includes defining the requirements, the data and information to be included, ensuring controls, and managing the process for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Other duties include:

- Acts as the business advisor.
Partners with Squad leads, Product Analysts, Data Owners, and Compliance to design the optimal process and develop requirements
- Lead cross-functional process re-engineering/remediation activities that support the global, end-to-end reporting process, and evolving regulatory requirements
- Develops & updates process, and procedural documentation as needed to ensure accuracy
- Develops controls and establishes new controls as needed and supports quarterly RCSAs.
- Coordinates performance of controls especially those performed outside the process and proactively calls out weaknesses
- Resolves impediments for Risk & Process and helps with prioritization
- Approves process changes, provides training, and supports UAT Testing and Business Readiness Activities
- Defines process measurements, and reports on process performance includes providing inputs to OKRs.
- Support the successful transition of new reports to Business as Usual, where applicable, including drafting communications, global training, procedures, etc.
- Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise on the end-to-end reporting and rating processes, global Regulatory Policies and Procedures as well as supporting operational procedures and guidelines
- Generate governance committee recommendations and project status reports for Moody's senior management
- Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline and standardize business processes and improve operational controls and efficiencies
- Assist in activities related to performing root cause or deep dive analyses, remediation efforts and/or operational improvements
- Drive discussions with the analytical community and other Moody's teams (e.g., ROC, Risk Compliance, Government and Public Affairs, Legal, Central IT, etc.)
to effectively remediate issues or inquiries

**Academic background**:

- Undergraduate BA/BS degree in business administration, finance/economics, management, industrial engineering or similar field;
- Master's or MBA a plus

**Experience and skills**:

- ** 5**+ years of operations, business process and/or business analysis experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing global, cross-functional projects and teams required
- Ability to interact comfortably with different levels of management and articulate/present issues clearly and succinctly
- Advanced English level
- Regulatory reporting experience
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to set direction, ensuring working groups meet project results
- Self-starter and teammate with ability to meet tight due dates and handle multiple, competing tasks
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to reach across organization to successfully resolve requests/inquiries
- Highly organized and efficient, with an attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise, facilitate, handle, and resolve interpersonal or inter-team disagreements
- Excellent PowerPoint skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Data/Data feed experience preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma Thinking
- Knowledge of Moody's rating systems, analysis tools and operational processes a plus
