**Responsibilities**:
- Understand Industrial market dynamic and translate future trades to operations decisions across regions, using TEOA program as platform to drive improvement in safety, delivery, quality and gross margin.
- Create a comprehensive strategy/plan for the entire Medical Network, highlighting milestones to achieve a world class operations, through the deploying of TEOA programs.
- Work close to plant managers and function operational leaders in order to achieve the required operational metrics.
- Engage people and generate excitement about the future stage of operations and get the right engagement to execute necessary improvements.
- Set the right priorities for TEOA leaders, as well influence in the definition of operations targets for the various sites.
- Execute in a disciplined way, organizing short Kaizen projects, as well as medium and long-term improvement projects, which will drive service model and gross margin improvements across the sub vertical footprint.
- Lead cross functions improvements initiatives, integrating supply chain, quality, EHS functions to plant management towards a single goal to establish a world class operations footprint.
- Challenge, coach and support plant managers and TEOA teams to hit the TEOA targets globally defined.
- Holds people accountable for accomplishing plans, eliminating "turn backs" and fostering teamwork.
- Be recognized as a master in collaboration across boundaries, transferring best practices among regions/Bus and partnering with TEOA teams from corporate and other BUs.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, Master's Degree preferred.
- MBA / MSC Lean Manufacturing - Longer term if appropriate
- DMAIC Six Sigma Master Black Belt - preferred
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering.
- Previous experience leading and transforming operations at multiple sites or value stream level is essential.
- Strong background in lean practices, experience in using value stream mapping and implementing lean tools, such as: 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM essential.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management
- Strong team leader, ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results
- Analytically, data-driven and problem solving mindset.
- Ability to have a holistic overview of complex situations and flexibility to deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise.
- Fluent in English
- The role will involve travel to other regions within the business unit and will require overnight stays.
- The role has a heavy emphasis on supporting and coaching Plant Managers and TEOA Leaders and influence Operations Leaders
