Lead a team who conducts analysis to establish competitive compensation program development and provide compensation guidance to HR, other departments and business leadership to accomplish objectives.
**How you will make an impact**:
- Manage and lead a compensation team, while establishing policies and procedures in consultation with the Global Comp leaders. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of that team
- Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, and action item follow up in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams. Create solutions to problems in alignment with established pay strategies. Act as an implementation leader for compensation programs and systems (e.g., annual pay review, EIP administration & accruals, KODs administration, JDx, system/process changes, salary budget planning, etc.), leading the execution and delivery of programs
- Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of compensation strategies which may include negotiations with internal and external parties. Participate and/or lead special projects/analyses to identify trends, assess impact, analyze alternatives and recommend action plans based on these analyses
- Develop and document compensation processes and procedures for the team
- Other incidental duties
**What you'll need (required)**:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Math or other related field, compensation and demonstrate people manager experience, required. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish).
**What else we look for**:
- Proven expertise in usage of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and related compensation data management tools. Working knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Substantial problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Substantial negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Deep understanding of related aspects of global compensation processes and/or systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of global compensation to the business
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change in complex situations, and interact with all organizational levels.
- Ability to assess risks, analyze complex situations and determine next course of action.
- Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Ability to exercise judgment in determining approach to meetings and how best to modify approach and direction to get alignment and buy-in before reaching a solution
- Strict attention to detail, accuracy, and demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis, critical thinking, and utilize database management tools to provide analysis and solutions to problems.
- Ability to work in a fact paced environment and balance a dynamic workload with constantly changing priorities, deadlines, and project scopes.
- Ability to frequently interacts with internal and external management and senior-level stakeholders concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
