Manager - Global Supply Chain Analytics**

**Supply Chain Data Analytics Sr Manager**:

- **will manage a team of analysts who support the enterprise Global Supply Chain and PPI team to enable a digital supply chain capability.
This team will leverage data from cross divisional supply chain, planning, procurement, and operations teams.
This role will partner closely with the global supply chain team, procurement excellence team, site planning and IT teams, and others, in the development and execution of digital supply chain capabilities including data aggregation, API and reporting automation to various source systems, standardized KPI, dashboarding capabilities showcasing key insights to drive strategic capabilities across the Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
This role will lead multiple key initiatives to support the Digital Supply Chain strategy, enabling technology and analytical needs across the enterprise supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of 8-10 Supply Chain analysts providing strategic guidance to drive new value for the global supply chain group
- Build and develop the SC/ Reporting & Analytics capabilities to enable execution of Thermofisher global digital supply chain strategy
- Manage workload and prioritization of reporting & analytics requests from business, supply chain and PPI users
- Establish and drive automation of existing and new reports and standardization of process and execution within the function, including consistent reports, metrics, data sources, etc.
- Develop strategy and API to obtain required data from key source systems (ERP/Data Lakes / other DB)
- Collect, model, and analyze data in support of materials management, planning, supply chain, inventory, supplier, category level data for all sites.
Normalizes data as required
- Develop solutions to aggregate and automate data needs
- Develop dashboards showcasing key insights for required data sets
- Take the lead on more critical initiatives (supply assurance,, data classification, part mastering)
- Serve as 'super user' for supply chain tools, providing training, admin support such as new users / access, maintenance, process improvement, etc.
- Drive category analytics to inform category strategies and supply performance management (including demand trends, suppliers, common parts, market data, etc.)
- Support ad hoc data and analytics requests and consolidation based on category management and other business needs
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts on more complex projects and requests
- Provide guidance, oversight and coaching for a team covering supply chain analysis
- Serve as primary point of contact and escalation point for all supply chain analytics needs

**Functional & Technical Skills**
- Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations knowledge required
- Expert on supply chain / material management / planning / inventory data available for reporting and complexities of our data
- Ability to support more complex requests for reporting and analysis
- Advanced analytics skills required - ability to collect / interpret data to drive supply chain decisions
- Excel expert, experience with Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx is necessary.
- Expertise in statistical and financial models
- Experience with translational databases (e.g., MS Access) and coding (e.g., Macros) is a plus
- Experience with workflow management tools (ServiceNow, QuickBase) - Nice to have
- Experience implementing data lakes is a plus
- Alteryx Certified is desired

**Leadership / behavioral**
- Project management skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative, track and manage own deadlines, drive projects to completion
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail; will work closely with data providers and supply chain, and operations leaders to achieve high data accuracy and provide insights
- Creative thinker who looks for ways to improve processes, visualizations of data, etc.
- Clear communicator who maintains a high level of professionalism with internal and external stakeholders

**Experience & Qualification**
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in a supply chain related role with demonstrated data management and analytics capabilities
- 2-4 years' experience leading a team
- Experience with data collection and in coordinating efforts of multiple groups with supply chain, procurement related data projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Information Science, Data Management, or related field
- English fluency required
