**Role Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics, the Sr.
Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics will have to lead and manage a team of Business Analysts and Data Scientists to drive enterprise transformational initiatives, provide critical business insights and manage a portfolio of analytics products enabling the VMware Sales organizations to achieve its ambitious goals.

Own up the analytics product management process from idea creation to product adoption, that will enable VMware's Worldwide Sales and Franchise Sales organizations with critical insights and decision-making analytics solutions.

In the Sr Manager role, you will be a People Manager leading People to drive value by building desirable, feasible, viable and sustainable data analytics products that meet stakeholders requirements over the product lifecycle.
- Partner with the Corporate leaders mainly but not limited to Sales and Sales operations
- Lead, coach and develop an international team of business analysts and data scientists located Globally from diverse academic, cultural and experience backgrounds.
- Develop long-term innovative analytics solutions, products, and strategies enabling the achievement of business objectives.
- Work closely with multiple business units and stakeholders to identify business issues and providing analytics solutions
- Deliver insights, and supervise the data collection, model development, analysis, implementation, tracking, and reported ROI from initiatives.
- Gain executive and business unit approval for analytic strategies and solutions
- Develop, evangelize, and drive adoption of enterprise-level analytics products, processes, and best practices across stakeholders.
- Align and collaborate stakeholders on strategic priorities related to analytics across the organization.
Foster a collaborative environment and strong relationships with business stakeholders/cross-functional partners and other department leaders to driving value added analytics adoption and sponsorship.
- Drive innovation by conducting research to monitor industry trends, explore and evaluate new technologies, emerging tools, approaches, and methodologies to continuously improve the overall capabilities of a modern analytics bench.
What you should possess:
- Theoretical knowledge of data science and/ or statistics with hands on experience
- Ability to run large-scale cross-functional analytics initiatives, while managing teams of analysts located across the region.
- Confident presence in executive-facing situations, polished verbal and written presentations, effective interpersonal skills, and strong collaboration skills, to partner effectively with internal and external teams throughout the organization.
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, SAP Business Object, OBIEE and/or other BI platform tools
- Design and management of business processes- Leadership skills working with distributed teams, at all levels of the organization without direct management oversight while experiencing working in virtual environments.
- Resilient and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and adaptable to fast-changing environment/objectives.

- Strong communication skills with verticals of an organization
**Success in the Role**: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

- You have to lead the Go-to-Market Sales Play EDA track successfully to complete the first 2 quarterly releases of GTM SP Dashboard and Business Insights for Strategy Sales Plays
