Job Summary This position is responsible for building, testing, implementing and maintaining network security technologies. This includes supporting IT projects through both pre-production and implementation phases by collaborating with internal technology risk teams, network services, infrastructure management, and external business groups to understand requirements to implement solutions accordingly; testing and validating upgrades and enhancements prior to production implementation; providing incident support to help resolve and remediate production issues; and implementing new security controls as appropriate to mitigate threat risks. This position is also responsible for maintaining a broad understanding of security infrastructure operations and to provide technical subject matter expertise to support the ongoing assessment and mitigation of information security risks. Essential Responsibilities ? Primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in order of importance." ? Implementation, coordination, and support of enterprise firewall changes (e.g., code/OS upgrades, hardware refresh) to ensure successful deployment and operational service ? Provide change management support for network security infrastructure (e.g., Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls) ? Provide incident management and on-call support for network security infrastructure (e.g., Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, other network security related events) ? Provide pro-active monitoring of network security infrastructure ? Respond to infrastructure alerts, determine impact, triage, resolve and/or escalate high priority issues or risks, as appropriate ? Create, update, and close incident and change-related tickets within ServiceNow ensuring all procedures, policies, and timelines are followed ? Document and provide input on root-cause analysis and prevention plans ? Collaborates with IT teams and key business partners to troubleshoot complex network security systems and provides solutions, as appropriate. ? Collaborates with team members to develop project support plans, schedules, and assignments to accomplish priorities and deadlines ? Proficiency with utilizing Splunk for troubleshooting and reporting
