**A Day in the Life
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performers a variety of import/export duties that include processing papers necessary to facilitate shipments between international locations.
- Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in accordance with organizational policies.
- Prepares reviews, approves and maintains files for import/export documents required for the lawful completion of import/export activities.
- Serves as an import/export liaison for international customers/subsidiaries, distribution, procurement, planning, manufacturing, intercompany finance, regulatory and import/export compliance functions.
- Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage and customs transaction compliance.
- You share critical process information with stakeholders in the organization and you create improvement proposals including business cases.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3+ years relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication English skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders (e.g.
communicating supply chain, Manufacturing, Import/Export or information to a non-supply chain audience).
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge in ERP (i.e.
Oracle, SAP, etc.
).
- Knowledge Medical Device or other regulated industry experience.
**Nice to Have**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with forecasting/demand planning systems and tools and Advanced Excel.
- Knowledge and understanding of import/export processes and procedures in medical devices or pharma industries.
- Continuous Improvement mindset and skills.
