Come join us. Huntsman is seeking a Sr FP&A Specialist supporting the GBS located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the FP&A Manager.As the Sr FP&A Specialist you will: Work closely with functions to gather financial information and align budgets with our goals.Support the budgeting process by collecting data from various teams and ensuring accuracy in budget preparation.Keep track of spending and regularly update forecasts to anticipate financial needs.Dive deep into financial data to identify areas of strength and improvement and share insights with the team.Ensure reports are clear and accurate, providing transparency on our financial standing.Contribute to financial plans for new projects, helping estimate expenses and aligning with business goals.Collaborate with teams to ensure financial plans are in sync with overall business objectives.Seek opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency, reducing administrative burden.Take the lead in addressing any issues or gaps in financial systems to ensure smooth operations.Assist with special projects by conducting additional analysis and preparing presentations to communicate findings.Proactively identify ways to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.Collaborate with other teams to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.Support audits and other checks to uphold financial integrity and adherence to standards.?Required Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica. 6+ years of related experience with bachelor in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent/related degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ability to learn multiple systems (examples include IBM Planning Analytics, SAP HANA, etc.)Proven ability in Forecasting and Financial Analysis.Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a high degree of initiative and organizational skills.Exhibits a strong sense of ownership with eagerness to learn, continuously improve and to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently.Required Huntsman Competencies:Critical view on data accuracy.Links together pieces and is capable of listing pros and cons.
