University bachelor's/licentiate's degree completed in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of Tax, Finance, Records to Report (R2R), Account Payable and/or Account Receivable experience.
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 3+ year(s) of continuous internal/external customer, stakeholder and escalation management.
- C1 English proficiency (advanced).

- This is not a virtual position. If selected for this role, you will be required to work from our SJO3 building, located in the Calle Blancos, San José, in a hybrid-model, attending three days to the office and two days working from home.
- Our only production schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Night and "graveyard" shifts are not available at this time.

Key job responsibilities
**Duties will include**:
- Building new/improving existing accounting processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses
- Providing financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts (including Kaizen/LEAN reduction efforts)
- Providing analytical support for staffing optimization initiatives
- Sourcing, analyzing, and reporting quantitative data; perform ad hoc analyses
- Analyzing trends, formulating projections, and evaluating savings initiatives
- Developing monthly/quarterly financial reporting (actual and forecast) and annual budgeting
- Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends
- Educating, communicating, and partnering with local leadership
- Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with internal customers
- Demonstrated work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Financial analysis and financial modeling
- Convince management of right decisions based on proven analysis and clear communications
- Work with functional leaders and other finance functions to build scalable financial processes and metrics

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Six Sigma Black Belt.
