**Work Schedule**Standard (Mon-Fri)**Environmental Conditions**Office**Responsibilities**:- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities- Lead AOP/forecast vs. actual expense analysis on a monthly & quarterly basis for Operating Expenses (OpEx)- Lead Strategic Plan (STRAP) for Corporate HR Talent Acquisition function- Proficiency in utilizing complex data for problem solving- Communicate effectively including standardized monthly reporting, and ad hoc reporting- Evaluate the financial and business performance by comparing it to important measurements and pinpoint relevant financial achievements, in order to comprehend the advancement towards strategic business objectives.- Understand and deploy the best tools and methods to effectively communicate complex data and topics; implement innovative tools/methods, as needed- Identify, and communicate risks & opportunities**Education**:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.**Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:- Minimum of 5 years financial analysis experience.- B2+ English Level. Fluent in English written and spoken- History of working cross functionally and building organizational relationships with customers, peers, and business partners- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and technical accounting knowledge- Proficient at understanding and proactively communicating the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills- Understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis) & PowerPoint; prior Hyperion planning (PLN 2.0) experience is strongly preferred- Strong business insights as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against baselines- Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution- Ability to lead multiple assignments and prioritize projects and time effectivelyThermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
