Purpose: In this role, you'll be a leader in safeguarding our people and environment.
As a Senior EHS Engineer, you'll develop and implement critical EHS programs that keep our employees safe and minimize our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities: * Ensuring the workplace adheres to all applicable laws and J&J standards * Leading all aspects of permitting processes * Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans * Investigating accidents and incidents to prevent future occurrences * Developing and maintaining safety programs and procedures for design, construction, commissioning and operational readiness stages.
* Providing EHS training and orientation for employees and contractors * Encouraging a safe work culture through communication and awareness programs * Leading the development and implementation of EHS programs across departments * Overseeing emergency response planning and preparedness * Monitoring and tracking EHS performance metrics * Collaborating with other departments to integrate EHS considerations Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree or higher in EHS Engineering from and accredited university Experience and Skills: Required: 6 years of experience of Environmental, Health and Safety 4 years of manufacturing and/or plant experience Strong written and spoken English is required Strong communication & interpersonal skills ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation/sustaining experience Solid understanding in OSHA, ANSI and NFPA standards Preferred: * Experience in start-up /green field projects
