Sr Embedded Systems Engineer #2 - 2024-049

The candidate must have proven skills in designing, implementing and testing embedded systems.
Atrack record working with real-time operating systems (RTOS's such as VxWorks) and Linux operatingsystems is expected.
The candidate must have hands-on experience with network stacks includingexperience with gateway design, layer 2/3 switches and ethernet traffic debug and optimizations.
In depthknowledge and practical experience with Networking protocols and Common Vulnerabilities andExposures (CVEs) is a must have.
At the application level, the candidate must have experienceimplementing embedded applications and dealing with issues such as optimizing Ethernet traffic, security,and system stability/reliability.
The candidate must have aptitude for troubleshooting, defining solutions,architectures, preparing schedules and cost estimates.
The candidate must also have gooddocumentation and code development skillsets.Work with the Project Manager and sales team on services sales opportunities.
Work wouldinclude definition of customer product requirements, evaluation and selection of productarchitecture, determination of project feasibility, estimating costs and preparing developmentschedules.Perform role of project team lead designer and team technical mentor.
Also act as the customerfacing technical expert for the project team.Design and develop networking and security enhancements to Wind River products.Design and develop complete solutions requiring device driver development, board configurationsup to application optimizations.Track, evaluate, and integrate developments and issues related to networking threats andoptimizations for embedded system.
