Who We're Looking For
In this role you will be responsible for design, development, implementation, and support of global IT communications systems and act as a technical lead for those systems. This role is the first level of escalation for fellow engineers. This position is critical to Internal Operations and consists of working on various infrastructure, unified communications, collaboration and mobile device management technologies.
Some of What You'll Do
- Scope of the Role:
- Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.Key Responsibilities:
- Support Enterprise Technology processes, functions, and team capability-
- Design solutions that are architected to security best practices and ensure controls are adhered to, in order to provide a reduced threat landscape-
- Provide support within a "Follow the Sun" model for IT Operations-
- Assist in all phases of infrastructure, collaboration, unified communications and mobile device management projects including requirements, design, development, implementation, and support in a large-scale multi-site environment-
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including Windows Operating System, macOS, Android OS and iOS environment, project related and technical documentation (How To's)-
- Support the deployment of technology services to offices of various sizes-
- Perform timely vulnerability and bug reviews and remediation by executing patches and upgrades of existing unified communications, collaboration and mobile device management infrastructure (hardware and software)-
- Participate in change and release windows as necessary for maintenance and upgrade purposes-
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and identify opportunities to improve the services provided by the infrastructureExperience, Education, and Certifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer for both Windows OS & macOS-
- Working experience leading projects-
- Intune/Jamf Pro & Collaboration Tools certifications strongly preferred-
- Working Experience with the following Microsoft Platforms or technologies:- Active Directory Domain Services-
- Microsoft Exchange-
- Microsoft Azure-
- Office 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams)-
- Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro (Mobile Device Management for Windows, macOS, Android OS and iOS)-
- System Center Configuration Manager experience is a plus but not required-
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (Laptop imaging and Windows Autopilot)Additional Requirements:
