**Our Team**
Catalina seeks a Data Operations and Quality Specialist to join our dynamic cross-functional team.
This role is responsible for collaborating with our internal business partners and 3rd Parties to manage the onboarding and integration of client and 3rd party data to ensure a seamless high-quality experience.
Additional key functions of this team include working with IT, Analytics, and Product teams to enhance short
- and long-term operational processes supporting data quality (availability, completeness, and accuracy).
**Responsibilities**
- Manage data integrations by defining requirements, onboarding data, managing SLAs, logging data, and performing quality checks to maximize client experience
- Conduct troubleshooting to scope out and timely resolve issues
- Develop data operations maturity assessment plan for assignment data sources to understand the current state of onboarding and monitoring of third-party and client data
- Build strong partnerships and increase collaboration with key internal stakeholders to align on priorities and drive data quality effectiveness enterprise-wide
- Develop improvement plans for assigned data sources, along with a timeline and recommendation for needed tools/skills/resources
- Manage and execute improvement plans for assigned data sources to enhance data monitoring, maximize data usage, and optimize data quality
- Maintain detailed documentation, including project documents, workflows, processes, data dictionary, and technical specifications
- Support Data Governance efforts such as documenting metadata and implementing Data Policies
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in technology, analytical, quantitative discipline, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Data Operations, Technology, or Analytics role, preferred
- Working knowledge/desire to learn data management platforms (DMPs) and related technologies, including ETL processes, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, etc.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL or other query languages, or strong desire to learn
- Strong project management and process improvement skills (PMP and Six Sigma certification preferred)
- Experience with design and analytical tools (Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and MicroStrategy) preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, diligence, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks with quality
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
