**About the position**:
We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Data Analyst to join our Customer Solution Group (CSG). In this role, you will help build a data analytics practice and actively participate in data analysis, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their growth and development. You will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making, delivering impactful insights, and enhancing customer satisfaction within our organization - helping to shape the future of our organization's data capabilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with executives and stakeholders across the Customer Solution Group (CSG) to understand their data needs and requirements, providing strategic guidance and consultation to translate these needs into actionable analytical problems.
- Act as a Player-Coach, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to more junior team members, potential to grow into a people manager.
- Develop best practices approaches and coaching structure for data analyst on the team
- Drive end-to-end analytical development, from data collection and cleaning to analysis, visualization, and storytelling, delivering valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis, focusing on customer-related metrics and key performance indicators, to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decision-making.
- Build intuitive presentations, infographics, and data visualizations to tell stories through data that convey key performance metrics, trends, and relationships
- Utilize Looker (or similar tools like Tableau or Power BI) and SQL to create and maintain visually compelling dashboards, reports, and perform data extraction and manipulation as necessary.
- Develop a deep understanding of our data, including operational metrics, customer behavior, satisfaction, and workflows, providing actionable recommendations to enhance team operations and improve the overall customer experience.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across CSG, contributing to enhancements in customer satisfaction and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Provide regular reporting and performance updates to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key findings, emerging trends, and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
**Requirements**:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, coupled with critical and strategic thinking abilities, enabling you to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable recommendations through insights and analysis
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team.
- Proficiency in Looker (or similar tools like Tableau or Power BI) with the ability to create and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and perform data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with SQL is a strong plus
- Extensive experience working with diverse datasets, managing business metrics, and key performance indicators.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Experience generating visual representations, such as graphs, charts, or heatmaps, to facilitate data interpretation and effectively communicate results to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective presentation of complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with voice of customer solutions, such as Medallia or Qualtrics, is a plus
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a bonus.
