**Job Description**:
**Role Description**

Reporting to the Compliance Testing Lead the Controls Testing Analyst will be responsible for performing control testing over access management, compliance, and other operational risks across the Experian global.
They will also support the Controls Testing Lead in the risk assessment and planning activities and the analytics team in the identification and development of analytics.
The Controls Testing Analyst will be responsible for developing and executing controls testing plans and for communicating, agreeing, and monitoring gaps in controls in line with Experian risk management processes and in collaboration with other assurance functions across the first, second and third line of defense.
**Major Job Functions**:

- Supports the development and maintenance of the assurance methodology bringing innovative ideas to improve the testing performance and supporting the team in transitioning to new ways of working.
- Develops assurance plans leveraging a combination of advanced analytics and manual activities and executes assurance work across multiple business units and regions, coordinating activities with senior stakeholders.
- Performs assurance engagement analyzing data from multiple sources and systematically documents the work and results.
- Reviews assurance results documented by peers for accuracy and adherence to control procedures.
- Prepares draft reports reflecting the results of work performed and advises the business on appropriate solutions and remediation activities engaging other 2LOD and Subject Matter experts in agreeing action plans.
Presents results to senior management to get buy in and agreement to action.
- Supports the Controls Testing Lead in the maintenance of the risk universe to support the identification and prioritization of assurance work and reporting of results and coverage.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential Abilities**:

- 5+ years experience in compliance controls assurance, operational risk, financial services assurance, risk office, Big 4 company, and/or internal audit.
- Experience in performing control testing, data analytics or continuous monitoring.
- Ability to assess risks and identify suitable controls to mitigate risks.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting results.
- Influencing skills and gravitas, so that senior management will buy-in to changes being proposed.
- Research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to governance and change.
- Demonstrates high levels of personal integrity at all times.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- A problem solver who proposes innovative solutions.
- An approach that champions collaboration and consultation.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills.

- Experience of working in a multinational environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with relevant tools (identity, access management, risk and controls, data analysis, etc.)
- Relevant higher education degree.
- Relevant professional or academic qualifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, QiCA, ACCA, CPA or other).
