The Finance Digital Transformation team is driving innovation in RPA, Data Analytics, and AI to standardize and simplify Finance processes. We're seeking an Automation Finance Manager to lead this evolution, providing tailored technology and process solutions for business simplification, standardization, and transformation. Collaborating with business partners, this role implements automation solutions, optimizing the Finance function in the AIG division.
**A day in the Life**:
- Thrive in a dynamic setting, overseeing Automation and Analytics projects from Ideation to Production.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and leadership, gathering requirements, mapping processes, and collaborating with IT teams to deliver top-tier automation solutions for Finance processes.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their and self professional growth.
**Keys to Success**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems / finance or any other relevant field
**Experience**:
- Collaborate with finance business experts to identify and define automation-targeted business problems.
- Drive lean value stream mapping events, eliminate waste in AS-IS processes, and design streamlined TO-BE processes for automation solutions.
- Handle automation opportunity backlog, prioritize projects through Cost Benefit Analysis, and align with program objectives.
- Drive monthly operating rhythm to review funneled projects with the Automation Governance Council, prioritize automation projects based on cost benefit analysis and hand-over for development.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks & justify the benefit through automation. Focus on driving the productivity improvements at a micro-process level & to make valuable contributions through robotic process automation (RPA) or other automation tools like Power Automate.
- Define agile execution methodologies, gather core requirements, and work with Solution Architects and developers for timely project completion.
- Evangelize automation capabilities, educate cross-functional groups, and promote efficiency opportunities.
- Organize project teams, manage interdependent projects, and coordinate execution across multiple initiatives.
- Resolve roadblocks, manage risks, and scope changes, and communicate progress at various organizational levels including leadership and executives.
- Create Proof of Concepts for automated solutions using RPA software and other tools, demonstrating feasibility.
- Ensure deliverable quality to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Drive a continuous learning culture within the team, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and/or related business process excellence trainings are a plus.
- Advanced Excel is a must.
- Strong presentation skills
- Credible change agent with demonstrated initiative, facilitation & interpersonal skills; exhibits confidence; proven ability to work well with & influence all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead; demonstrated abilities to deliver effective presentations and educate at all levels of the organization.
