What You Will Achieve
Pfizer's Global Business Services (GBS) Transformation and Project Management (T&PM) Office is responsible for driving simplification, innovation, and expertise across GBS and accelerate GBS strategy through an integrated and centralized metrics, innovation, and transformation model.
This Sr. Analyst position is responsible for working on data analytics and related projects in the Metrics & Measurement team specifically supporting the Fuse (ServiceNow technology) products Reporting-KPIs and Data Insights workstream.
The Sr. Analyst will deliver on metrics & analytics, with a focus on the overall cross functional alignment and coordination in the delivery with key stakeholders and partnership with Digital.
Responsibilities include identifying & establishing metrics portfolio, delivery of reports and analytics & insights, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
The Sr. Analyst will also be responsible for generation of analytics using Excel and Visualization Tools like Tableau.
Manage, track and present on project and work progress against critical metrics (including financials, variances in time and scope, risks, and trends) to management on a regular basis.
How You Will Achieve It
- Participate in the scoping planning, controlling and execution of various cross-functional types and levels of analytical projects and analytical solutions support to deliver quality services to the business
- Work closely with the Sr. Project Manager or Project Lead to set stakeholder expectations and maintain alignment and project performance to achieve objectives and success criteria
- Coordinate and complete reporting activities, analyze data, and assure tasks are executed in quality and timely manner in support of achieving performance against targets.
- Provide tactical and project management support on assigned finance initiatives by utilizing and driving a standardized, end-to-end project management approach (including governance methodologies and toolsets) to ensure consistency and quality
- Support work-stream development and tracking of workplans and schedules (including specialized resource requirements, key milestones, and project dependencies) to ensure projects are consistently delivered on time
- Control and report on project financials to ensure projects are consistently delivered on budget
- Support the identification of potential risks, a risk analysis and mitigation plans
- Participate in problem solving, structure proposed options/solutions and contribute to implementing approved solution with discernment
- Develop a regular cadence to report/present progress to project and senior management against critical metrics
- Support continual alignment on corporate and organization strategy, vision, mission, values, and priorities and ensure actions and behavior are consistent and supportive
- Work and develop relationships with other teams such as colleagues in GBS and Digital to understand the diverse requirements, processes and systems, to identify and complete investigations of data trends and outliers to determine root causes of issues and recommend and track the implementation of solutions.
- Package and present results of analysis, recommendations, benefits, and risks in clear & useful manner.
- Work with colleagues to understand their Business Intelligence and reporting requirements to recommend reports and analysis approaches, which may include scheduled or on demand training of Business Intelligence tools and techniques.
- Supporting manager in complex ad hoc analyses and continuous process improvement activities as necessary to support strategic objectives of the organization
- Manage multiple conflicting priorities in an organized manner and effectively manage time and balance priorities
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- 3-5 Years of experience in finance or related field and exposure to project management process/activities
- Bachelor's degree in a business, finance or related field; MBA, project management credentials (i.e., PMP, 6 Sigma) preferred
- Experience & knowledge in field of data analytics, reporting & metrics.
- Strong knowledge of project management and development procedures
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and comfortable influencing and motivating teams with no direct authority over them
- Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
