**Your Role at Baxter/Vantive**:
Interface with a broad spectrum of Finance and non-Finance personnel globally - both in the businesses and across BBS functions such as Intercompany, P2P, Payroll, FP&A, FPO, Internal and External Auditors. Excellent top-level exposure to the Inventory performance of Baxter/Vantive and each of its businesses.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Perform complex Inventory Analysis for Stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Account for Inventory Technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc.
- Prepare and/or manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.
- Perform and/or approve inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.
- Provide audit support as needed.
- Support regional and global reportinSrg requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet Flux analysis.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
- Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls
- Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.
- Coordinate a team to complete the main process accurately and timely.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
- 3 plus years of relevant work experience. Inventory accounting experience with a manufacturing entity preferred.
- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or Share Service.
- Strong technical, research, and analytical skills.
- Close attention to detail, quality, and control.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in an efficient and timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, organizing, prioritizing, and communicating effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills (Power Queries); experience with JD Edwards, Alteryx is a plus.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2+).
- Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays.
