This is where you are empowered to do your best work.**Your Role at Baxter/Vantive**:Interface with a broad spectrum of Finance and non-Finance personnel globally - both in the businesses and across BBS functions such as Intercompany, P2P, Payroll, FP&A, FPO, Internal and External Auditors. Excellent top-level exposure to the Inventory performance of Baxter/Vantive and each of its businesses.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Perform complex Inventory Analysis for Stakeholders in a timely manner.- Account for Inventory Technical accounting areas such as On Hand, In transit, WIP, FG, MRO, E&O Reserves, Cap&Roll, etc.- Prepare and/or manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentation and certification.- Perform and/or approve inventory account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines, follow up to resolve open items.- Provide audit support as needed.- Support regional and global reportinSrg requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet Flux analysis.- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.- Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls- Support local, regional, and global projects, as required.- Identify and implement process improvements.- Create, maintain all DTPs, SOP, Critical Spreadsheets to execute the job activities.- Coordinate a team to complete the main process accurately and timely.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.- 3 plus years of relevant work experience. Inventory accounting experience with a manufacturing entity preferred.- Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or Share Service.- Strong technical, research, and analytical skills.- Close attention to detail, quality, and control.- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in an efficient and timely manner.- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, organizing, prioritizing, and communicating effectively.- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.- Strong Excel skills (Power Queries); experience with JD Edwards, Alteryx is a plus.- Fluent in both written and spoken English (B2+).- Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required.
