**What We Are Looking For**:
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Assist with month end close
- Prepare financial statements and management reports, including regulatory filings
- Reconcile sub-ledger to GL account balances
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Prepare charts and graphs to interpret financial data
- Assist in the research and resolution of any issues involving accounts, records and reports generated within the department
- Continuous support of budget and forecasting activities
- Develop and maintain financial databases
- Maintain chart of accounts
- Assist with year-end audit and quarterly reviews
- General Ad hoc projects as required
**The Skills You Bring**:
- Proficient in Excel and organized and detailed oriented
- Experience using ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Oracle, JDE, SAP)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and eliminations.
**Minimum Qualification**s:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting degree or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing/taxation, and internal controls.
- Financial services experience, specifically in the securities industry a plus
