We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our global Accounting Team. This role will partner
closely with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by supporting
- starter with a proven
track record of prioritizing and driving multiple projects and results to completion. This position will
report to the Accounting Manager.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage multiple payment streams (lockbox, credit cards, checks, wires, etc.) to ensure that all payments are posted correctly on a daily basis
- Prepare wire transfer requests for international funding, customer refunds, and other ad-hoc non-AP payments
- Monitor cash transactions to ensure the bank account balances in SAP are accurate
- Prepare journal entries with proper documentation
- Complete accurate bank reconciliations as well as research/resolve discrepancies
- Work cross-functionally with multiple departments to identify and resolve unapplied and unreconciled transactions, including but not limited to: AR, Billing, Sales, AP, Benefits, Equity, Payroll, and Treasury
- Perform month and quarter-end closing tasks
- Assist in investigating unusual transactions and trends
- Assist in providing required support for audits
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for cash management and forecasting
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis under the direction of Accounting Manager
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA is preferred
- Experience with SAP Hana (ERP) is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, conditional statements, pivot tables, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills
- Execution focused with high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a global team
