Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstallation, Upgradation, Administration, and monitoring of SQL Server InstancesMonitoring of DB backups, database health, and fix day to day DB related issuesDatabase access managementDesigning of database backup and recovery strategy and creating maintenance plansTroubleshoot database performance issues such as Memory bottlenecks, CPU bottlenecks, I/O bottlenecks.Setup High-Availability and Disaster Recovery using AlwaysOnDatabase migration from on-prem to Google Cloud/AzureImplement Organizational Data Security and Compliance policiesUnderstanding of IT Service Management tool such as SNOWWork with Developers to select and deploy appropriate CI/CD toolsAdvocating and building automated processes wherever possibleTOOLS & TECHNOLOGIESMicrosoft SQL Server /Azure SQL DatabaseGoogle Cloud/ MS Azure /Azure DevOps/Azure MonitorSSIS / SSRS/ SSASSQL/TSQLQualificationsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical fieldDB Administration Certifications on GCP or MS Azure will be preferred.
