**Job Summary**
- This role is responsible for managing and leading multiple programs, developing program strategy, and driving innovation. The role collaborates with relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of program progress, escalations, and evaluates program plans for compliance. The role proactively identifies areas of continuous improvement and implements changes in products, processes, or business practices as required.
**Responsibilities**
- Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for a Global Business Unit.
- Develop and implement a periodic department-wide SOX risk and control assessment program
Work with control owners to identify, design and conduct the management assessment of internal controls
Assess processes, risks, and controls to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
Provide support and assistance to groups performing SOX functions throughout the CSSD-S organisation
Support control owners in the preparation and execution of the annual SOX testing plan
Perform tests of design and operating effectiveness
- Directs the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the Global Business Unit.
- Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.
- Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.
- Monitors and enforces project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.
- Works with engineering project managers, product design, operations, to identify and resolve the risks associated with early builds.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing engineering organization.
- Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.
- Coordinates with management to ensure proper procedural compliance, maintenance, and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.
- Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.
**Education & Experience** Recommended**
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.
