**What this job involves**
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of **Sourcing Specialist - Bilingual **to join our team:
- **Location**: Cityzen Park, La Ribera de Belén, Costa Rica.
- **Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or 5:00 am to 2:00 pm
- **Work model**: Hybrid (at least, three day working at JLL Office).
- **Contract Type**: Indefinite-term.
This position will be working with the UK and US markets and will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, involving activities such as maximizing cost savings, negotiating favorable lease deals, optimizing pricing and payment terms, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. It includes conducting comprehensive solicitation processes and utilizing electronic auctions when appropriate. The role also entails capturing rebates and discounts, analyzing pricing data, and providing recommendations for improvement to drive cost efficiencies and achieve the best value for the organization.
**What is your day to day?**
- Maximize cost savings and negotiate favorable commercial deals for lease renewals.
- Optimize pricing, commercial principles, and payment terms for new requirements to achieve the best value.
- Running RFP/RFQ/RFI processes - Conduct comprehensive solicitation processes to identify the most suitable options for the business, considering pricing, quality, and other key factors.
- Utilize electronic auctions when applicable to drive competitive bidding and secure the most advantageous pricing and terms.
- Capture rebates and tiered discounts from key suppliers based on spend levels and agreed-upon principles to enhance cost savings.
- Analyze pricing information and data to develop a total cost of ownership framework and identify opportunities for further cost efficiencies.
- Proactively identify opportunities to save costs through effective demand aggregation, contract renegotiation, or alternative supplier options.
- Provide assistance to Category Director/Manager with market research, adoption levels data, ESG reviews, and other related activities.
- Work closely with Category Director/Manager and business stakeholders to ensure complete alignment on objectives, strategy, and required approvals.
- Deliver regular updates to Category Directors/Managers and stakeholders, providing recommendations for improvement and influencing change based on analysis and insights.
- Research diverse opportunities with suppliers and collect data from new and existing businesses.

**Required**:
- Degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience purchasing services (cleaning, maintenance, security, gardening or similar)
- Advanced level of English to work with US and UK.

- Excel in a matrix reporting structure, managing relationships across departments, and maintaining accountability to the sourcing/procurement organization and their related objectives. Adaptability to navigate complex structures and relationships is essential.
