We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Sourcing Specialist to join our team:
**Location**: Cityzen Epicentro Laboral y Social, Belén, Heredia, Costa Rica.
**Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
**Work model**: Remote/Hybrid.
**Contract Type**: Indefinite-term.
This role is responsible for providing specialist support for contracting and sourcing of third-party services for regional operation with sustainability issues (e.g., carbon footprint reduction services) and other interesting categories such as diversity and inclusion, working on each item as a project, promoting and developing them for clients in the region.
What is your day to day?
The regional platform leader is responsible for leading the S&P platform operation activities.
Lead and coordinate regional sourcing activities by collaborating closely with regional Sourcing leads, account Sourcing leads and Accounts and Clients to set overall priorities and functional goals.
Closely collaborate with Americas Sourcing Solutions Development, Product Sourcing & Category Management, and relevant business stakeholders to retain, grow, and win new clients.
Lead, coordinate and support all sourcing platform initiatives in Latin America.
Perform activities relating to contracting and sourcing process.
Track contracts and pricing information working in conjunction with administrative assistants and facility managers located at multiple sites.
Assist sourcing team during Request For Proposal (RFP) by researching information on vendors, current contracts, pricing, baseline spending and other relevant information.
Coordinate the preparation of RFP package, release to vendors, collection and summarization of proposal data.
Compile contract package in accordance with contract checklist and ensure all items are in order. Present contract package for approval.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on contracts, spend and savings.
Ensure compliance of contracts as per corporate policies.
Ensure accuracy and quality of data in vendor database.
Develops and Leads High Performing Teams
Help to develop and retain top Sourcing talent.
Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
Support high-performing, integrated sourcing teams that are committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
Provide support to Group Sourcing Leads/Team Leads/Large Account Leaders on their performance progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.
Actively support Supply/Demand within the sourcing platform.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships
Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plans are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives.
Establish and maintain relationships within Latam Leadership across all business lines.
Support the strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation.
Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance.
Grows the Business
Support the interaction with Sourcing teams across Category Management, Solutions Development, Sourcing Enablement, account, and clients to support the sales process.
Take a visible role as PM (Project Manager) on Renewals, Expansions, and New Business through active partnership with Managing/Account Directors, Solutions Development and Business Development
Participate and lead functional meetings to ensure action plans delivery.
Achieves Financial/Compliance Results
Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
Comply with all JLL and client policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
**Required**:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA is preferred.
5 years of experience working with Project Management or Sourcing and Procurement scope.
LEED certification or knowledge in sustainability (green/sustainable building).
Contracts management experience.
Construction experience is a plus.
Technology proficient with expertise in Office suites programs.
Upper-intermediate level of English (level B2).
