What this job involves
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of SOURCING ANALYST to join our team:
**Location**: Cityzen Epicentro Laboral y Social, Heredia, Costa Rica.
**Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
**Work model**: Hybrid.
**Contract Type**: Indefinite-term.
This role does not manage purchases but controls them, focused on budget control mainly, control of the operation and finance management. Also, will perform PO creations, control of invoice claims, process improvement and interact daily with Facility Managers and internal customer.
This position works for Mexico, Costa Rica and Argentina operation.
What is your day to day?
Prepare purchase orders and send order requests to suppliers.
Update records and follow up with vendors to check if the order is being processed.
If issues arise with shipments or orders are incorrect or late, work with the supplier to resolve the issue.
Assists with management of the annual budget process including monitoring department budgets for compliance, trends, and expenditure and revenue projections.
Prepares data for use by departments in developing their budget submissions; Provides assistance and guidance for program and project managers; consolidates and compiles data; reviews and proofreads documents for accuracy and completeness; prepares or analyzes revenue and expenditure projections.
Assists in establishing metrics and developing tracking mechanisms; conducts budget research and analysis as requested.
Prepares budget-related reports, communications, documents, and materials for internal and external customers that conveys financial and budgetary information in a useful manner; creates charts, graphs, and tables for effective presentation of information.
Performs budget to actual variance analysis, research and monitors financial results, performs financial projections.
Conduct invoice audits of the operation against pricing and contractual compliance as per pricing agreements, and purchase orders.
Manage billing packet documents as per organizational, contractual requirements, ensuring all required invoices include proper source documents demonstrating proof of delivery.
Ensure timely tender and issue resolution of invoicing billing. Initiate and lead research analysis of findings to mutually satisfactory resolution of invoicing issues.
Analyze, track, and report non-compliance for billing process improvement.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and reports as assigned.
Ensure accuracy and quality of data in vendor database.
**Required**:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economic, or related field.
3-4 years' experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing services and generating purchase orders.
Knowledge in budget management.
Advanced level of English.
Intermediate level of Portuguese is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
