Primary Responsibilities:
- Design comprehensive test cases to cover user stories, thoroughly validating functionalities, and user requirements.
- Perform manual testing on user stories, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to quality assurance across all testing methodologies.
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks and test scripts, enhancing our testing capabilities and efficiency.
- Identify automation opportunities across various test types and implement suitable automation solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the development and product teams throughout the Agile development, from story grooming and refinement to implementation/releases and retrospectives.
- Stay abreast of the latest automation testing technologies and methodologies advancements, continuously seeking to improve our processes and tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience.
- Experience with performance and mobile testing.
- 3+ years of experience in test automation.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress framework.
- Proficiency in developing, testing, and debugging automated tests.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Solid understanding of Agile software development processes and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JIRA Zephyr, etc.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of effectively communicating technical concepts and collaborating with global teams.
Preferred Skills
- ISTQB Foundation Level.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Unix shell scripting.
