Job Summary:
- Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs in one or more programming languages, for a specific assigned software system or systems. These may include PC, Web, or mainframe-based development tools.
- Executes given test scripts, records results, and reports issues
- Provides appropriate research support to business and information technology groups within the organization. Advises on options, impact on other business processes, and system priorities.
- Writes program specifications for individual programs.
**Qualifications**:
Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic to Moderate understanding of computer science concepts.
- Basic to Moderate knowledge of one or more programming languages(C#/VB.Net) and operating environments.
- Basic to Moderate knowledge of software engineering such as testing(nunit/xunit), source control(bitbucket), and agile planning.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft SQL
General Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 - 3 yrs years of experience in a computing environment
