**Job Description**:
**Responsibilites**:
- Supporting Desktop Asset Management teams to resolve license related queries with compliant decisions
- Manage O365 cloud reservations through placing additional licenses onto the Microsoft portals & assigning MSDN subscriptions
- Maintain new demand requirements and on an annual basis coordinate the raising of purchase requisition orders with Microsoft & other vendors to match the current deployment and near term demand profiles
- Knowledge of various desktop delivery models including local, software center, Citrix, VDI and cloud assignments
- Experience with software licensing models across Tier 2 vendor such as Adobe, Nitro, Tableau, Attachmate, Jetbrains
- Act as a software discovery tool champion maximizing the output of the tools in terms of governance and cost efficiencies monitoring usage and drive teams to remove non usage
- Benchmark software license management positions across desktop products to provide Effective License Positions for selected software titles
- Proactively identify and drive opportunities across desktop & cloud to successful outcomes through rationalizing and standardizing software renewal contracts together with rationalizing software titles for overlapping product sets to reduce costs
- Identify and remediate compliance risk positions as and when they become evident
- Support any desktop related software audits when required
- Drive continuous improvements to the request and removal processes through automation and with collaboration of other SAM team members and the Desktop Asset Management teams
- Manage and maintain Global supplier portals where a requirement has been identified
- Be an ambassador and evangelist for good SAM practices within the Global organization
Qualifications**
Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of IT asset management experience, preferably software asset management.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Prior experience of Oracle financials is desired.
- Experienced using ServiceNow for ticketing and reporting is highly preferred.
- Experience of managing Software Contracts & dealing with Software Vendors/Publishers and Resellers is critical.
- Familiar with software inventory & discovery tools such as SCCM and Tanium would be an advantage.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
- Self-starter and able to work proactively of a truly Global team in a matrixed organization.
- Globally recognized SAM accreditations such as IAITAM Certification, CSAM and CITAM is desired.
- Agile & Lean Certifications are desired.
