The role of this social media advisor will primarily be focused on supporting global campaigns.
Social Media Advisor is a masterful storyteller with digital and technical skills that with analytics and paid advertising experience.
The Advisor must have in-depth knowledge of the technical usage and functionalities of social media networks, digital platforms, and tools.
This includes experience with Facebook insights and native analytics from Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and others.
Must know what type of content works best on what platform and how to optimize content accordingly, as well as understand the different nuances of each platform.
The social media advisor must know how to engage DXC audiences with the right content type, tone, style, and interactions while following brand guidelines.
**What you'll do**:

- Work closely with teams across DXC to develop campaigns that help to achieve marketing, sponsorship, and business goals.
Teams include regions, portfolio marketing, talent acquisition, brand, corporate communications, employee engagement, and internal communications.
- Coordinate social media programs and activities such as Twitter chats, live streams, Q&As, and other engagement tactics
- Analyze performance and develop weekly/monthly performance and campaign reports on social media performance that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
- Monitor DXC's social media accounts daily and engages with audiences
- Track and listen for mentions of DXC, leaders, sponsors, partners, and influencers across social platforms
- Analyze the long-term needs of the company's social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management team that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
- Support and ensure maintenance of consistent corporate image and messaging across all platforms
- Three or more years of experience in social media marketing and writing experience
- Strong English writing skills
- Use marketing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr, Dynamic Signal, Marketo, Canva, and others, or can be quickly trained to use new tools
- Optimize assets for social media and configure platform-specific functionalities such as live streaming, editing, analyzing, and monitoring
- Able to explain and contextualize complex social media data/metrics in an understandable way
- Knowledge of design and video production
- Copywriting Skills: skillful writing ability to convey technical ideas in a clear and precise way so that customers and audiences understand the messages quickly and easily.
Adviser understands how to test copy and configuration of a tweet or a post and re-write content from different perspectives.
- Visual Intelligence: Has general knowledge of design to create visually appealing graphics and video snippets for each content type and platform and understands what images and rich media will work, and when, and how to repurpose assets for social media.
