**A Day in the Life**
As the Materials, you will be responsible for performing all operations in the Manufacturing site, including inspections of product returns, DHR and label creation and placement, product sorting, repackaging, labeling, rework, replacement, sorting recalls and inspection of materials for damage/quality defects, proper sterility.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
- Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
- (un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
- Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules.
- Compiles data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
- Sort and process materials from customers or distribution.
- Perform reprocessing which includes evaluation of product and determination of disposition.
- Process returns, determine whether product may be reused.
- Process recalls according to instructions outlined by QA/RA.
- Follow procedures and training.
- Operate in a safety focused environment and adhere to all departmental and company safety programs.
- Works with Cross Functional teams including Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Distribution, Warehouse, Planning/Logistics.
- Other duties assigned without accommodations.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- 1 year of experience is required in medical devices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of previous experience Precision Machinist or in Medical devices preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced computer skills (Windows environment and MS Office).
- General work experience, warehouse, and manufacturing experience a plus.
- Availability Weekly Shift (night or day).
- Forklift or certified driver's license.

**Nice to Have**
- knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
- SAP knowledge/experience.
- Technical education or certification in Logistics and Inventory or Data Analysis Technician.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Desire to do the job correctly.
- Good computer and handwriting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
