Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop the user experience for digital products, based on business objectives and the desired user and customer behavior
2. Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to identify new product opportunities, define problems & goals, map user flows and bring concepts to life
3. Define user experiences for new and existing digital investing products
4. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and production quality visual designs
5. Work within and maintain our design system, setting standards for color, type and interaction
6. Collaborate with designers across other teams to workshop solutions, share insights and feedback, and help to grow the firm's design culture
7. Validate designs and concepts through usability testing
8. Work across the firm with other teams to ensure accuracy and consistency, and to build consensus
9. Quickly and thoroughly create work flows, wireframes, design mockups and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives and features
10. Discover qualitative and quantitative insights via user research, user analytics and awareness of the most up to date UX practices cross industry.
11. Craft User Personas to identify and articulate user motivations, expectations and goals
**Requirements**:
1. This position is a senior level position.
2. The expected length of relevant prior experience beyond formal education is 5 to 7 years.
3. BS/MS degree in Design or related discipline
4. Requires full understanding of complex experience in product, interaction and user experience design
5. Entrepreneurial drive and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Experience designing and shipping large-scale product releases
7. Strong understanding of UX and its relationship to visual design
8. Ability to interpret product goals and business objectives to drive user and customer behavior.
