The Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for critically evaluating complex project and program management information across the Technology M&A Program and providing data and insights in complex situations in support of the Technology M&A Director and Project Managers. This role is responsible to ensure optimal performance across all Technology M&A Programs in line with program governance and controls including the analysis of a range of data and information to manage and mitigate risk across the technology program.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain governance controls across the project lifecycle by supporting the process of verifying that governance deliverables and procedures are followed across the technology program.
- Monitor and control reporting of high impact technology program risks, ensuring project owners have appropriate response plans in place.
- Consolidate and document the fundamental components of the technology program (Projects / Program scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements).
- Establish and manage reviews at appropriate points across the technology program, providing evaluations of program progress and key performance indicators.
- Gather and review data and information from across the technology program to evidence that the information from program is valid and provides assurance that programs are likely to achieve their outcomes.
- Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the performance review of portfolios, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities, including the inputs and outputs required to align with organizational practices.
- Partner with Sub-Program owners to identify and resolve data inaccuracies across the aggregated Technology Program.
- Consolidate and document management information report packs with fundamental components of the technology program performance data such as (Budget / Cost, schedule, risks, opportunities, and issues) and provide as inputs to in-place governance arrangements.
- Continuously learns and researches new techniques and methodologies to solve technology program related issues.
**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst role.
- BS/BA degree or experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Collaboration with a Portfolio and/or Program Office.
- Understanding of Project / Program Planning, and project management tools and methodologies.
- Fundamental understanding of core business technologies including but not limited to CRM, ERP, Infrastructure, Network, Cyber and HRIS.
- Understanding of Cost, Budget Mgmt and Risk Mgmt including Forecasting.
- Experience with developing and maintaining management information reports as well as executive summary reports.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and influence people and Teams to gather information and remediate issues.
- Experience performing data analysis, business process analysis or using analytical thinking skills to solve a business problem.
- CAPM, PMP, APM, Prince 2 or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience and knowledge of different project related methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a project related tools such as Planview, MS Project, Smartsheet or advanced Excel.
- Monitor and control the financial forecasts across the technology program as a means of driving financial governance and controls as part of the organization's overall financial management.
