**PROJECT IMPACT**
- **Leverage your love for code.
**Empathetically review code, elevating the team's performance and, products.
- **Partner with a passion.
**Effectively communicate your fresh and dynamic ideas to fellow engineers and stakeholders.
Identify ways to enhance patterns and processes with our department, ensuring the highest quality interface and Episource product features.
- **Collaborate and coach.
**Provide mentorship and thought leadership throughout the team, guaranteeing accurate and effective pair programming, code reviews, and more.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- **In 3 months, **you will be a key contributor to your team and begin understanding the department's processes.
- **After one year, **you will lead technical initiatives and work with team leads and other staff+ engineers across the department to establish rational development processes.
**THE EXPERTISE**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience, professional certification preferred
- Working knowledge of design patterns / anti-patterns, event-driven, and cloud architecture
- Working knowledge of microservices architectures.
- Working knowledge of highly scalable distributed and cloud-native databases.
- Good working knowledge of React, Node.js, GraphQL, SQL, and current CI/CD pipelines
- Nice to have experience with event sourcing toolings such as AWS Kinesis or Apache Kafka
