**Your Role and Responsibilities**
The SAP BASIS Administrator is responsible for successful implementation and support of Netweaver systems supporting a variety of SAP functional environments in the IBM Cloud solutions inlcluding CMS, AMM, HEC.
Responsibilities will include working directly with clients, and other IBM staff, supporting client's production, quality, development, and test environments including R/3, Enterprise Central Component (ECC), Business Warehouse (BW), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Portal (EP), Exchange Infrastructure/Process Integration (XI/PI/PO), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), HANA Systems.
The applicant should have experience troubleshooting system performance problems and delivering new installations.
Must be able to provide system environments with uninterrupted stability.
Exposure to SAP BASIS in a variety of Operating Systems (OS) and Database environments.
Detail oriented and focused on the overall client experience.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
Required skills:
- 5 or more years of experience on SAP Basis - basic experience
- basic experience with at least 2 database (one should be Hana and the other could be DB2, Oracle, MSSQL or Sybase)
- experience with multiple solutions from SAP (ECC, ERP, BW, SCM, S4HANA, PI/PO, BOBJ, GRC)
- Experience on Windows and Linux operating systems
- experience with ITIL and at least one ticketing tool
- accept working in shifts, including weekends
- excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
general understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management concepts
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends.
Desired:
Bachelor's of Science Degree in a technology field.
Experience in scripting and automation.
