We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Specialistto lead the critical task of finding a financial partner for TravelWallet. This project aims to establish a partnership with a financial institution for issuing TravelWallet-branded debit cards, credit cards, and e-money wallet accounts, following the "Banking as a Service" model.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Partnership Sourcing**: Utilize your industry connections and network to identify and approach potential financial partners who are willing to issue TravelWallet-branded cards and e-money wallet accounts.
2. **Due Diligence**: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential partners to assess their suitability, financial stability, and compatibility with TravelWallet's objectives.
3. **Negotiation**: Lead negotiations with financial institutions to secure a mutually beneficial partnership agreement. Ensure that the agreement aligns with TravelWallet's strategic goals.
4. **Project Management**: Oversee the implementation of the partnership, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of TravelWallet's services with the partner's infrastructure.
5. **Compliance and Regulatory Oversight**: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that the partnership complies with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
6. **Relationship Management**: Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with the partner, fostering ongoing cooperation and addressing any issues that may arise.
7. **Reporting and Metrics**: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the partnership. Regularly report on progress to senior management.
8. **Continuous Improvement**: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the partnership and explore potential expansions or improvements to the collaboration.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or industry certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience in partnership and project management within the financial industry or FinTech.
- A strong network and connections within the FinTech ecosystem, particularly with "neobanks" and fintech startups.
- Experience in negotiating and establishing partnerships with financial institutions.
- Familiarity with issuing debit cards, credit cards, and e-money wallet accounts is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
