**Role Purpose**
Manages a large and/or complex project with high visibility (multi area or product) at all stages (initiation, execution, closure) and in all PM areas (time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, human resources, procurement).
Ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget, quality and resource requirements using excellent communication skills.
Manages the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of regional large/complex projects (multi area or product) to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.
Project Mgmt Overall:
Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained.
Leadership
Leads larger project teams and project-managers of sub-projects
Business Operation
Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders.
**Main Accountabilities**
Operates throughout all the development phases of an IS project
- Manage customer expectations and reports project status
- Ensure that service provider organizations deliver all required services according to agreed processes and procedures
- Responsible for the overall success of one or more projects
- Obtains feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations for contracted time, cost, and performance
- Develops detailed project plans, project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicates major milestones and identifies potential project risks; conducts regular status meetings to review project activities
- Manages changing scope (i.e., change management) and project acceptance criteria
- Utilize project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations
- Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks
- Responsible for managing P&L and reporting progress of the project on an ongoing basis
**Qualifications**
Proficient project management experience with technical and domain specific business knowledge
Proven ability to lead and manage a specialist-based, high-performing and multicultural team
Demonstrated people leadership capability to drive and motivate staff to meet project deliverables
Proficient customer relationship and negotiation skills, in order to define project scope, time and quality requirements
Strongly demonstrated leadership in project process and planning activities; strategic approach
Proficient experience in preparation of project plans with appropriate budget and resource requirements.
Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on excellence and high quality project delivery
Proficient experience in stakeholder and communication management
IT Experience
IT Project management
In-depth understanding of international project management standards
Experience in supervisory/management in general IT in medium/large sophisticated organization with medium or high volume/medium or high transaction environment
Exposure to an IT department run as a project center, delivering IT services that are tied to business goals
