Role/Responsibilities
- The Moody's Finance Transformation, Data & Systems team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Data and Analytics team by planning, coordinating and implementing strategic and operational priorities and special projects.
This role requires an outstanding blend of problem solving skills, focus and flexibility, creative approach and stakeholder management abilities.
The Senior Project Manager will primarily focus on the implementation of a cloud Data Factory and new Enterprise Performance Management system.
- ** FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Delivery of the Data & Analytics Hub project, driving data ingestion, modelling and improving roadmaps and ensuring the timely delivery of Data initiatives
- Responsible for the timely planning, coordination and execution of initiatives that may span several different technology solutions, teams and/or internal partners by acting as a liaison between Data, BI, Automation & IT teams
- Ensure readiness for change across business by ensuring efficiency of change management programs that will result in the early adoption of the new solution and business processes.
- Encourage the active use of a strong risk management framework with the project teams and internal partners.
Raise any risks / roadblocks with appropriate level of vitality.
- Provide well-crafted audience appropriate communications with accuracy and completeness such as resource management reports, steering committee presentations, Board of Directors status, and various status reports using MS Office tools suite, JIRA and other tools such as MIRO board, Slack and SharePoint.
- Define, supervise and report out on metrics to measure the performance of the initiatives in their scope of work.
**Qualifications**:
- » 7+ years of work experience in some combination of the following: strategy, financial analysis and/or project management
- Undergraduate BA/BS degree in business, finance/economics, management or similar field; MBA a plus
- Strong analytical, problem solving and creative skills with an ability to exercise good judgment and make timely supportable decisions
- A base understanding of relational database architecture, financial systems architecture or cloud data warehousing and implementation
Experience in setting priorities and assuming responsibility for work and work products
- Experience in delivering insights to management in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with Jira platform is desirable
