This role is part of our Learning and Data Advocacy (LDA) team within the Enterprise Data and Analytics organization.
EDA is a key part of the Corporate Information Organization (CIO) team, serving the data and analytical needs of VMware colleagues worldwide.
As a Senior Program Manager for the LDA team, you will have the opportunity to lead strategic programs and projects that impact business success and enable productivity and engagement at scale.
You will have the unique opportunity to co-create and build programs actice from the ground up, bring your ideas to fruition, and enhance our existing programs.
You will engage and collaborate with brilliant colleagues across the globe within and outside EDA to problem solve, work collaboratively, and deliver program and project excellence.
**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
**:

- You will help create, establish, and grow the framework of project excellence for the DS&E team.
- You will drive the execution, implementation, and/or operation of scalable learning and organizational change management programs.
- You will have the opportunity to lead complex multi-functional learning deliverables for key data and analytics projects or programs.
- You will integrate seamlessly with the DS&E team and serve as a valuable can doer, thought partner and problem solver for the organizations we support.
- You will help define what success looks like for your programs and projects and help bring your stakeholders along to achieve these goals.
- Within 30 days, you will need to:

- Have a solid understanding of VMware and LDA priorities for FY'23.
- Describe how LDA supports EDA OKR achievement.
- Connect with key business partners to understand the business initiatives they are driving and required learning and change management support to partner for the success of these initiatives.
- Lead prioritization session(s) to pinpoint EDA-led initiatives and outcomes, which are expected to directly support the achievement of our OKRs.
- Within 90 days, you will need to:

- Create materials & represent LDA regarding progress against transformation initiatives.
- Attend meetings, take, and close actions on behalf of LDA Director on project, program, and initiative development.
- Communicate LDA prioritization of activities and outcomes based on highest impact to the business.
- Build effective partnerships needed to execute on our transformation.
- Establish process to track OKR progress.
- Lead LDA programs with clear vision, priorities, and agile execution across transformation projects.
- Within 180 days of employment, you will:

- Drive new ideas to shape transformation initiatives; show data to prioritize and resources required to execute.
- Implement methodology for continued project assessment and prioritization on LDA.
- Rationalize resources needed to support transformation projects & outcomes.

As the LDA Senior Program Manager, you will:

- You will ask forward-thinking, big-picture questions to help cross-functional teams come to the best solutions
- You will analyze existing programs to identify opportunities for improvement, define requirements, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally to improve processes and tools.
- You will help build consensus, drive projects, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to the stakeholders
- You will lead the development and execution of communication plans change adoption strategies for the programs and projects you lead.
- You will present to groups at all levels and can answer questions with poise and confidence while relating in an approachable manner.
- You will partner with systems and business teams to understand technical and functional requirements and design programs and processes within scope.
- You will be responsible for continuously improving the value proposition of the LDA team by listening to customer feedback and make incremental improvements to our delivery model.

The LDA team delivers excellence in four fundamental areas - Structured Learning, Community Engagement, Organizational Development, and Customer Advocacy for key identified programs under the CIO and EDA umbrella.
