PURPOSE OF JOB Optimize production schedules and procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products while managing costs and inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute the production schedules in a timely manner to meet customer demand and delivery goals for both component and Finished Good level production Create and maintain a valid capacity requirements plan for both internal manufacturing external subcontracting suppliers which supports the demand requirements Maintains product availability dates for customer service order promising Analyze, understand, and convert MRP messages to raw material purchase orders and plans to meet production / forecast demand Provide material support through communications with suppliers and placing purchase orders according to MRP requirements Inventory Management - Understand and maintain the minimum necessary raw materials and finished goods inventory and report on the status of inventory levels against inventory targets Maintain accurate item master data lead times, batch size, safety stock target, to always ensure 100% system data accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field (required).
EXPERIENCE : 5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, and/or planning (required) Experience in a regulared industry (required).
A Medical device manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures (required) Familiar with an integrated ERP system (required).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advance use of MS Excel (required).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, and/or APICS CPIM certification will be considered a plus POSITION SKILLS : Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and time management skills Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team Ability to follow detailed procedures with several potential variables. OTHER : Professional fluency in English is essential (B2+) both written and oral (required).
